A Directory of Contact Information for National Associations, Foundations, and Other Nonprofit Organizations in the United States and Canada
This edition of Associations USA provides librarians and other information specialists with a one-stop source to help them reach about 14,800 active associations and other nonprofit organizations in the United States. Published in a single, easy-to-use volume, Associations USA is a low-cost alternative to many of the existing sources on the market today. It provides up-to-date, independently verified contact information for:
- National nonprofit membership associations, including those having individual members as well as those with corporate or institutional members
- National nonprofit, nonmembership organizations, such as NGOs (non-governmental organizations), political action committees, public policy institutes (i.e., think tanks), information clearinghouses, and other nonprofit groups
- Foundations, including private, philanthropic foundations as well as educational and research foundations established by associations
An Appendix to Chambers of Commerce provides detailed contact data for U.S. state and local chambers as well as Canadian chambers. An Index to Acronyms is also included.
Alphabetically Arranged Entries Provide Complete Contact Data
The overall arrangement of Associations USA is alphabetical, with listings presented by organization name and subject keyword(s) within its name. If an association or organization is also known by an alternative name, this other name is included among the listings as well. Entries provide complete contact data, including location and/or mailing addresses, telephone numbers, and web site addresses. Fax numbers and toll-free numbers are provided as available.

What reviewers are saying . . . "Associations USA is much cheaper, less cumbersome, and easier to browse [than the Encyclopedia of Associations].
